Cookeville’s CANCER CENTER is one of only a few hundred facilities in the nation to offer both, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and B-Mode Acquisition and Targeting Ultrasound System (BAT). The Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons has granted approval with commendation to Cookeville’s Cancer Center. It is one of 1,500 centers nationwide to achieve this commendation.
In addition to the outstanding Heart and Cancer Centers, Cookeville Regional Medical Center also has a Women’s Center, Human Motion Institute, Spine Center, Rehabilitation and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Imaging Center, Outpatient Imaging Center, Sleep Center, Birthing Center, Diabetes Center and Community Wellness Center. Several of these speciality services have received “five-star” ratings.
